System Requirements
DocPoint and ScanPoint are designed to work with Microsoft Windows® Win 7, Vista, XP and 2000. You must activate the products using a serial code that we provide during purchase.
Personal Edition Requirements (minimum)
- Processor: Pentium III class processor, 300MHz
- Memory: 512MB
- Storage space: 80MB for installations
The Personal Edition is designed for a single user and employs an MDB database.
Professional/Corporate Edition Requirements
- Processor: Pentium III class processor, 300MHz
- Memory: 512MB
- Storage space: 80MB for installations
DocPoint supports Microsoft SQL (2000, 2005, 2008)
While the Corporate Edition is designed to work with a SQL server, it is possible for small businesses to use the Professional Edition with an MDB database. Doing so reduces the initial cost of implementation, and upgrading the database infrastructure from MDB to SQL later on is a simple procedure.
