DocPoint and ScanPoint are designed to work with Microsoft Vista®, Microsoft Windows® XP, 2000, ME, 98, and NT4. You must activate the products using a serial code that we provide during purchase.
Personal Edition Requirements
- Processor: Pentium III class processor, 300MHz
- Memory: 256MB
- Storage space: 50MB for installations
The Personal Edition is designed for a single user and employs an MDB database.
Professional/Corporate Edition Requirements

- Storage space: 50MB for installations
DocPoint supports SQL in three of the most popular implementations: Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
While the Corporate Edition is designed to work with and SQL server, it is possible for small businesses to use the Professional Edition with an MDB database. Doing so reduces the initial cost of implementation, and upgrading the database infrastructure from MDB to SQL later on is a simple procedure.
